Recently, I am investigating the possible use of Intel Servers (White Boxes as I have heard people calling it) in favor of branded ones. For the past 5 years, I solidly recommend, support and sell IBM's eServer XSeries to clients. And for the past 5 years, i experience zero failure/downtime with IBM for all the servers I have sold. I have sold dozens of these already from entry levels up to the 4-ways.
Becuase of IBM's price tag nowadays, I am investigating Intel Servers.
Anybody have experience with Intel's servers, mostly rackmounted ones and blades? How was it? How's the failure rate? How easy is it to deploy, administrate and manage?
